Therefore take unto you now seven bullocks and seven rams, and go to my servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and my servant Job shall pray for you: for him will I accept: lest I deal with you after your folly, in that ye have not spoken of me the thing which is right, like my servant Job.(b)
Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.
Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.(g)
Hide not thy face far from me; put not thy servant away in anger: thou hast been my help; leave me not, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation.
Make thy face to shine upon thy servant: save me for thy mercies’ sake.
The Lord redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.(f)
Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the Lord be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.(n)
And hide not thy face from thy servant; for I am in trouble: hear me speedily.(e)
The seed also of his servants shall inherit it: and they that love his name shall dwell therein.
